“Not A Drop” Law

Drinking and driving is the cause of too many crashes and is preventable. “Not a drop” is a zero tolerance law in many states aimed at reducing the number of underage persons injured and killed in traffic crashes. Under the “Not a drop” law a driver under 21 years of age who is stopped after drinking any amount of alcohol may lose their license. Please talk with your son or daughter about drinking and driving and let them know that it’s okay to call you at any time to pick them up if they have had any amount of alcohol. In no way are we condoning underage drinking but if they make the mistake of drinking, don’t let them make the possibly deadly mistake of driving.
