Welcome

This website was created by driver education instructors for students taking driver education and their parents/guardians.

We had two goals in mind when we worked on the website.

1. To make the roads a safer place for everyone and to keep finding ways to make our roads safe as possible.
2. To create a quality website that will help parents deal with teaching their son or daughter to drive while they’re preparing to get their driver’s license and to be successful drivers.

The age when kids start to drive and get their permit and license is an anxious time for both the student and the parent and we want to make the transition as easy as possible.

We hope this website will be helpful in making the parents feel comfortable while riding with a new driver, will answer questions a parent might have and to help parents with some driving concepts to work on with their son or daughter.

 

We tried to condense the website for parents so it wouldn’t be too long and would be easy to refer to a particular area of driving. We also hope the website will help the beginning driver through the early, middle and late stages of driving. The website will help them be prepared for some different driving situations, lessen the chances of the young drivers getting into an accident/crash and lastly there are some tips and suggestions so the student driver will be confident in taking their permit and license test.

The website is designed to be a supplement to the information learned in the classroom. If you have any questions regarding driving laws in your state please consult the department of motor vehicles or a driver’s manual.

We appreciate you utilizing this website. We believe if everyone received this training the roads would be a safer place.
